AAU SELECT TOUR BASKETBALL CAMP

AAU Select Tour Basketball Camps are built for athletes and families who want more than just “runs” and a t-shirt. Each camp is a true development and exposure experience—structured training, real coaching, competitive games, and clear direction on what to work on next. Founded by former Division I college players, the Select Tour was created with one mission: teach the game the right way and help athletes move forward with confidence, discipline, and a better understanding of what it takes to earn opportunities.

Campers go through high-level skill sessions designed to improve fundamentals, decision-making, and basketball IQ in a high-energy environment. Instruction is led by experienced coaches, including former college coaches and players, with an emphasis on habits that translate to real games: pace, spacing, finishing, shooting mechanics, on-ball defense, and playing with purpose. The experience also includes recruiting education for parents and athletes—what coaches look for, how exposure actually works, and how to position yourself the right way. Every athlete competes in two recorded games on small teams to maximize playing time, touches, and visibility. Game film is uploaded to YouTube for continued evaluation and shareable exposure. The AAU Select Tour is where player development and meaningful exposure come together—built to help athletes improve, compete, and be seen.

AAU SELECT TOUR CAMP SCHEDULE

This schedule is designed to keep the day moving, maximize reps, and make sure every athlete leaves with development, competition, and film.

9:00 AM — Check-In + Dynamic Warm-Up

Athletes check in and go straight into a guided dynamic warm-up. This is not just “stretching”—campers learn how to properly warm up the body for performance, movement quality, and injury prevention.

9:45 AM — Orientation + Recruiting / Development Talk

We set expectations for the day, then cover practical recruiting and player-development education for both athletes and parents. Topics include what coaches look for, how exposure actually works, and how to build a real development plan.

10:15 AM — Team Placement

Athletes are placed on balanced teams within their grade division to keep matchups competitive and fair. Teams are built to maximize touches, playing time, and quality reps.

10:30 AM — Skill Development Stations

Athletes rotate through 4–6 station-based training blocks (based on camp size). Sessions are led by the Director of Player Development and an NBA Skills Trainer, focusing on game-relevant skills such as finishing fundamentals (including 1v1 situations), ball-screen reads, small-sided games that teach spacing and movement, fundamental ball handling, and more.

12:00 PM — 5v5 Games Begin (2 Games Per Player)

After stations, the game schedule is posted and live play begins. Athletes will play two officiated games with coaches on the bench. Multiple courts may run at once (typically 1–3 games happening at a time).

Lunch / Breaks (Between Games)

If an athlete is not scheduled in the current game window, they can use that time to eat lunch, hydrate, and reset. Families should plan to bring lunch or be ready to grab something nearby depending on the venue options.

Game Film Included (Free)

All games are recorded, and film is uploaded and shared at no additional cost after the event—giving families a tool for evaluation, growth, and exposure.

5:30 PM — Camp Wrap-Up / Departure

Camp concludes after athletes finish their second game. Players are free to leave once their final game is complete.

Note: Times are approximate and may shift slightly based on camp size and facility logistics, but every athlete will complete the full development + game format.

TRAINING AND PLAYER DEVELOPMENT

AAU Select Tour camps are built around one goal: players leave more prepared than when they arrived. Our training is fundamental, game-ready, and easy to understand—so athletes improve skills and learn how to apply them in real competition. It’s built for middle school players developing a foundation and high school players sharpening details that translate to varsity and recruiting.

Each camp includes a two-hour skills session designed and led by Gabe Blair (College National Champion, Overseas Pro, NBA Player Development Coach). Training is high-rep and competitive, using station work and small-sided games to develop what matters most: ball handling under control, finishing fundamentals, shooting mechanics, defensive positioning, spacing and movement, and decision-making out of common actions like ball screens. Athletes are coached by grade division and leave with clearer habits, better IQ, and a stronger plan for what to improve next.

Development doesn’t end when camp ends. The training connects directly to the Select 360 App, where athletes can keep progressing with guided workouts, player-development resources, and recruiting education for families. Camp gives the reps and coaching—Select 360 helps turn that progress into consistency.

RECRUITING + EXPOSURE

AAU Select Tour camps don’t just give athletes a place to play — we give them a plan to get recruited and the tools to be seen. Every camp starts with a Recruiting Seminar designed for players and parents who want clarity on what matters most in the recruiting process and how to avoid common mistakes.

Recruiting Education (Seminar Included)

Our seminar breaks down the recruiting landscape in a way families can actually use. We cover academics and eligibility, how scholarships really work, how to communicate with coaches, and how to build a social media presence that helps instead of hurts. The goal is simple: leave camp knowing what to do next.

Exposure & Player Marketing (Built Into Camp)

Players earn exposure through two showcase games with live evaluation and full film coverage. Every athlete receives professionally recorded game footage and an in-depth evaluation that documents strengths, role, and recruiting fit. We also offer highlight video options for athletes who want a polished recruiting tool.

Film Sent to College Coaches

Your game film and player information aren’t just collected — they’re distributed. Game film, player info, and camp write-ups are sent out to college coaches and scouting services nationwide to maximize visibility beyond the gym.

DISTRICT SELECT BASKETBALL CAMP

AAU Select Tour Camps are built for serious players who want real development, real feedback, and real recruiting support in one complete experience. Each camp combines high-level instruction with competitive live play so athletes can train with purpose and prove what translates. Players leave with clear evaluations and a better understanding of what they do well, what needs work, and how to improve. We also start every camp with recruiting education for athletes and families, covering key topics like academics, scholarships, social media, and the recruiting process—then back it up with exposure through recorded showcase games, film distribution to college coaches, and optional highlight video services.
