Following an incredible first wave of standouts, Part 2 of the Georgia District Select Camp highlights even more young athletes who made a lasting impression in Suwannee. The gym was once again buzzing with intensity as players showcased their speed, skill, and competitiveness across every drill, scrimmage, and live session.
From guards with elite handles to versatile forwards who brought power and presence inside, this group represented what the Select Tour is all about — effort, IQ, energy, and growth. As always, not every standout could be listed, but every player who stepped on the floor helped raise the standard.
Here are the Part 2 standouts from Georgia who separated themselves and demanded to be noticed.

Justin Taylor
Class of 2030 | 5’8” | Point Guard
Justin Taylor was one of the fastest players with the ball in his hands at the entire camp. His end-to-end speed in transition made him nearly impossible to contain, and he finished plays with confidence and creativity. He has excellent control over his handle and the ability to shift gears at will, keeping defenders off balance. Justin can score from all three levels, showing a smooth pull-up jumper and comfort shooting off the catch. What makes him special is how effortlessly he makes plays for others, creating easy looks for teammates in transition and the half court. His activity on defense stood out as well, as he used his quickness and instincts to cause turnovers and pressure the ball. Justin’s explosiveness and playmaking ability make him one of the most dynamic guards in his class.

William Evans Jr
Class of 2031 | 5’0” | Point Guard
William Evans Jr. brought nonstop energy and determination every time he stepped on the court. His quickness and motor allow him to stay active on both ends, and he thrives on pushing the tempo in transition. Offensively, he uses a lightning-quick first step to beat defenders and finish around the rim despite his size. William rebounds well for a guard, fearlessly mixing it up inside and creating extra possessions. Defensively, he is relentless, constantly pressuring the ball and forcing turnovers with his anticipation. His ability to outwork his opponent, combined with his competitive fire, made him one of the hardest-playing guards at camp.

Aden John Scruggs
Class of 2031 | 5’9” | Center
Aden John Scruggs made his mark in the paint as one of the most physical and consistent post players at camp. He showed the ability to finish through contact, using his strength and balance to score around the rim. Aden runs the floor extremely well for his size, often beating defenders down the court for easy transition buckets. His hands are reliable, catching tough passes and converting them into points. On defense, he anchors the paint, contesting shots and boxing out with purpose. His willingness to do the dirty work and play with toughness on every possession makes him a coach’s dream big man.

Christian Baker
Class of 2030 | 5’5” | Point Guard
Christian Baker impressed with his burst, control, and creativity as a floor general. He plays with an advanced understanding of pace, knowing when to slow down and when to explode by defenders. In transition, he is nearly unstoppable, using a variety of finishes — from floaters to crafty euro steps — to convert tough layups. His hesitation move consistently freezes defenders, creating open lanes for scoring or dishing to teammates. Christian’s jump shot is smooth and confident, and his footwork around the rim is exceptional for his age. On defense, he stays active in the passing lanes and applies strong ball pressure. Christian is a true playmaker who controls the flow of the game.

Terrence Delaney Jr
Class of 2031 | 5’9” | Guard/Forward
Terrence Delaney Jr. was a force around the basket all day. He finishes with strength and soft touch, converting tough shots through contact. His ability to catch on the move and score in traffic shows excellent coordination and composure. Terrence rebounds at a high rate and uses his body to carve out space against bigger players. He can also handle the ball and attack off the dribble, showcasing versatility on the perimeter. His consistent effort and presence on both ends make him a reliable and productive player every possession.

Omari Mathis
Class of 2030 | 5’5” | Point Guard
Omari Mathis plays the game with heart and hustle, making his presence felt in every moment. He loves to defend full court, using quick hands and anticipation to force turnovers. Offensively, he’s a master of reading defenses, often turning steals into fast-break points for his team. Omari has a variety of finishes at the rim, including scoops, floaters, and underhand touch shots. His awareness on defense is advanced, constantly cutting off driving lanes and disrupting offensive rhythm. He plays with confidence and toughness, embodying what it means to compete every play.

Maliek Thomas
Class of 2030 | 5’4” | Shooting Guard
Maliek Thomas has a smooth, composed game that shows a real understanding of basketball IQ. His ability to read the defense and pick the right moments to attack stood out throughout camp. Maliek is an efficient scorer who can finish at the rim, knock down open jumpers, and shoot comfortably off the dribble. His body control and use of shot fakes allow him to find creative angles to score even against bigger defenders. On defense, he competes with energy, moves his feet well, and never backs down from a challenge. Maliek’s calm demeanor and skill set make him a consistent contributor every time he steps on the court.

Sean Branch
Class of 2030 | 5’11” | Small Forward
Sean Branch brought a level of physicality and determination that set the tone for his team. He uses his strong frame to initiate contact and absorb hits on his way to the rim. Sean is an aggressive finisher who thrives in the paint and crashes the glass hard on every possession. His ability to run the floor and finish in transition made him a consistent scoring threat. On defense, he competes with toughness, contesting shots and battling for position. Sean’s strength, effort, and consistency made him one of the most dependable players at camp.

Yannick Mayers
Class of 2031 | 5’3” | Point Guard
Yannick Mayers displayed great feel and composure with the ball in his hands. He plays with an excellent sense of pace, attacking gaps at the perfect moment. His ability to shoot from deep with confidence and control adds a valuable dimension to his offensive game. Yannick is crafty when driving downhill, using spins, fades, and quick changes of direction to create looks by the rim. Despite his size, he rebounds fearlessly and plays with heart. His court vision and calm decision-making show maturity beyond his years.
