North Carolina District Select Camp: High School Standouts

August 3rd, 2025 | Proehlific Park – Greensboro, NC

The AAU Select Tour made its much-anticipated stop in Greensboro, North Carolina for the North Carolina District Select Camp and the energy in the gym did not disappoint. With over 90 athletes in attendance from all across the state, Proehlific Park was filled with talent, competition, and the drive to get better.

Throughout the day, players were evaluated in a variety of settings, drills, skill stations, competitive matchups, and live gameplay. As always, our staff was locked in on the traits that truly translate to the next level: motor, coachability, feel for the game, and consistency across both ends of the floor.

After careful consideration and thorough evaluation, we’ve selected a group of high school standouts who caught the attention of our staff in multiple categories. These selections are based on performance at this specific camp, and reflect players who consistently separated themselves throughout the day.

That said—not being listed as a standout does not mean a player didn’t show value or talent. Many players had strong moments and will continue to trend upward as they develop and grow into their game. We appreciate and respect the work every athlete put in, and our team takes pride in making sure all players leave each camp with something they can use to get better.

Zion Harmon brings a rare mix of strength, motor, and feel that make him hard to miss on the floor. His ability to grab a rebound, push the break, and finish through traffic made him one of the most consistent transition scorers in the camp. On defense, he swarms the ball and always seems to be in the right position to create chaos. Harmon plays with confidence and maturity beyond his age. If he continues to grow physically and sharpen his skillset, he will be a serious problem in the 2028 class.

2028 | Guard | J.C. Draughn

Cayden Lewis stood out as one of the most well-rounded players at camp. He consistently made plays on both ends, using his instincts and feel to impact the game in a variety of ways. Offensively, he finishes strong, rebounds well for a guard, and embraces contact to keep possessions alive. His timing and anticipation allow him to be in the right place at the right time. Cayden doesn’t need the ball in his hands to be effective and plays with purpose. Coaches will love his versatility and winning approach.

We want to thank every athlete, parent, and coach who made the trip and trusted us with their time. The level of competition in North Carolina is strong, and this camp was a reflection of that. Whether your name is listed or not, keep building, keep competing, and continue to show up with purpose.

The journey doesn’t stop here. We'll be watching.
